  7. CyberPiPView is another picture viewer with usage of the
  8. datatypes. This program uses the videolayer feature of a 
  9. cv64/3d/piv to display pictures in 16bit no matter which resolution
  10. the current screen has (<=8bit, 15/16/24bit). This means 
  11. that any picture can be shown in up to 65536 colors even 
  12. if the current screen just has 8 colors. The gfx processors 
  13. automatically scales the picture to fit on the screen. When
  14. the window gets resized, the picture will be scaled, too.

  16. HISTORY
  17.  1.0    first public release
  18.  1.1    now checks if a cv64/3d is installed (R. Reiswig),
  19.     didn't close libs when ReadArgs() failed,
  20.     window border no longer covers parts of the pictures,
  21.     added COLORKEY option (see known problems section),
  22.     DELAY option.
  23.  1.2    removed some enforcer hits
  24.  1.3    now works with p96 picture.dt (forgot to get a new
  25.     bitmap pointer after remapping).
  26.  1.4    now works with p96 cgxvideo emulation, filerequester
  27.     remembers last path, changed handling of window.
  28.  1.5    newer releases of cgxvideo.lib work buffered for both Z2
  29.     and Z3 machines. This slows down CyberPiPView, fixed 
  30.     that problem by changing the way the layer is filled up.
  31.  1.6    newer releases of p96 seem to have a different LibID string
  32.     for their cgfx emulation. That's why cyberpipview failed
  33.     to work with a piv. Fixed that by removing the check for
  34.     a specific gfx-board <reported by several users>. compiled
  35.     with gnuc.
